After recognizing their relentless efforts in achieving peace and order in the province of Cotabato during the recently-conducted Provincial Peace and Order Council Meeting, Cotabato Governor Nancy A. Catamo will be commending once again the Cotabato Police Provincial Office (CPPO) after it bagged this year’s award as the Best Police Provincial Office in the country.
“I salute all the men and women behind CPPO especially Provincial Director Maximo C. Layugan”, the Governor said.
PD Layugan relayed this good news through Police Officer Ramil Hojilla, who represented him in today’s PDEA meeting with the Governor.
Hojilla said that Cotabato Police Office bested 81 other CPPOs who vied for the said award. CCPO, which is set to receive the Best PPO Award at the Camp Crame this coming August 22, is set to receive its commendation from the provincial government during the celebration of the province’s foundation anniversary commencing on the last week of August.//ozg//
