BHW, BNS and DCW receive honorarium from the provincial government

“Your heart for service is bigger than your desire for compensation.”

Governor Nancy A. Catamco said this during the distribution of honorarium to Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), and Day Care Workers (DCW) coming from the Municipality of Kabacan today, February 4, 2020.

She also said that BHWs, BNSs and DCWs are considered as modern day heroes because of their unwavering commitment to work and compassion to people they serve.

“In order for us to have a healthy community and educated children we have to value, love and respect our front liners – our BHW,BNS, and DCWs who generously give their time and effort in delivering the public service to their assigned barangay as partners of government.  As your governor I assure you of my support and I’ll do my best to compensate all your efforts for the well-being of Cotabateños,” Governor Catamco said.

Yesterday, February 3, 2020 the Provincial Government of Cotabato started to distribute the two-months worth of honorarium for the BHWs, DCWs and BNSs of Alamada, Pigcawayan, Midsayap, and Libungan.

The distribution was facilitated by the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), along with the personnel from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO).

In  Alamada a total of 132 BHW, 109 DCW, and 35 DCW; Pigcawayan 134 BHW, 54 DCW, and 40 BNS; Libungan 101 BHW, 44 DCW and 24 BNS; and Municipality of Midsayap 312 BHW, 88 DCW and 69 BNS.  Aside from 2 months honorarium the DCWs also received P1,000 cash gift from the provincial government.

Today the provincial government team also distributed the honorarium for the BHWs, BNSs and DCWs of Banisilan and Carmen.//ras//
