Amas, Kidapawan City – Governor Nancy A. Catamco was surprised this morning by Cotabato provincial employeeswho hosted a simple but fitting welcome program.
The capitol employees, brimming with smiles, lined up from the main entrance to the lobby leading to her office with red roses as they warmly welcomed the new governor.
But the highlight was at the Provincial Governor’s Office (PGO) where employees serenaded her and Division Chiefs took turns in introducing the personnel of the different divisions.
The short program also included the welcoming of the staff of the governor led by Provincial Administrator Mr. Basilio E. Obello, MRED who urged employees to support the new leadership through dedicated service. He then introduced each one of the new staff.
In her message, Governor Catamcothanked the gesture and assured the PGO family that – “huli man daw at magaling ay naihahabol din.”
She also reminded the employees of how she values initiative without being overbearing. “You can come to me with your ideas and we will see what we can do about your proposal.”
On her fourth day in office, the governor is finally at home.//mdd//
