Amas, Kidapawan City – Newly-installed Cotabato Governor Nancy A. Catamco has urged provincial employees to keep getting updates by undergoing trainings on the latest in government transactions, information technology, financial management and other aspects of public administration.
“I want to send you to trainings, I want you to be upgraded, empowered’, she told employees yesterday at a courtesy call held at her office.
The Governor stressed the need for government workers to undergo such enhancement trainings as these provide employees opportunities for skills development as well as updates on the innovations in public management.
Governor Catamco spent the first days of her administration meeting provincial department heads and employees and checking office premises as well.
The Governor said that she will make sure that the needs of the employees are well-provided for because she said “they are the foundation of my administration”.
Refurnishing of provincial offices are expected to start soon after the Governor committed to provide provincial workers with a clean, safe and healthy working environment. //ozg//
