Cotabato’s Top Women Leaders Meet

Amas, Kidapawan City–In yet another historic moment for Cotabato Province, the top two women leaders who were both victorious in the recent election met today to assure Cotabateños of mutual support.

After today’s First Regular Session of the 16th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cotabato, Vice Governor and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Presiding Officer Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza together with the Board Members of the three legislative districts appeared at the office of Cotabato Governor Nancy Alaan Catamco for a courtesy call.

In the brief conference that followed pleasantries, Vice Governor Mendoza  expressed the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to the chief executive through relevant and appropriate legislation like the application of Geo-tagging of all projects.  She also informed the governor that the Hospital Operation Information Management System worth P7M is already in place. 

For her part, Governor Catamco thanked the Vice Governor and the Board Members for their commitment and support to her administration and looks forward to a unified and participatory governance. //vdb//
