Cotabato supports President Duterte’s declaration of martial law

The Provincial Government of Cotabato affirmed its support to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in declaring martial law in Mindanao through a resolution passed by the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) in an urgent meeting held on May 25, 2016 at the rooftop of the Dr. Rosario P. Diaz, M.D. memorial capitol building. The PPOC said martial law is not to be feared and that its declaration is aimed at suppressing violence and protecting the people of Mindanao. Significant projects to boost literacy, infrastructure in many villages

AMAS, KIDAPAWAN CITY – Children in the barangays will soon be enjoying variety of reading materials after the provincial government officially turned over the Bookmobile Library last May 16, 2017. The Bookmobile library is an extension program of the Cotabato Provincial Library which aims to develop literacy in children including out-of-school youth, and other people in the community, especially in far flung areas where there is less or no access to libraries and barangay reading centers.  Ten public elementary and high schools in every municipality from Districts I, II and III will be identified as recipients of the “Bookmobile Visit”….

Cotabato beefs up engineering capability

The Provincial Government of Cotabato has once again acquired additional heavy equipment worth P285.2M to fortify its engineering capability. In a simple ceremony held on May 16, 2016 Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Mass rabies vaccination and awareness campaign intensified as provincial government eyes a rabies-free Cotabato province

Eyeing to make Cotabato Province a rabies-free community, the provincial government through the office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPVET) intensified its rabies campaign through regular conduct of rabies vaccination, information drive through orientation and distribution of IEC (Information Education Campaign) materials, training of health workers and by making vaccines available 24/7 in the 4 dog bite centers in the province. Cotabato hosts 4-H Regional Summer Youth Camp, bags 4th championship

Cotabato Province once again proved its supremacy in the recently concluded 4H Regional Summer Youth Camp held at the Agricultural Training Institute Satellite Training Center at Kabacan on May 10-12, 2017 as it emerged as champion for the fourth consecutive year. 4,000 Families benefit from various Infra Projects

Amas, Kidapawan City – About 4,000 families in the municipalities of Libungan, Alamada,  and Aleosan can now benefit from various infrastructure projects after a series of turn-over was conducted recently. 7th Summer Kids Peace Camp Kicks Off

On its 7th year, the Summer Kids Peace Camp is expected to help more young children discover and develop their skills while promoting peace and harmony among them. PGCot allots financial support to Palarong Pambansa 2017 delegation

AMAS, Kidapawan City (April 26, 2017) –     The Provincial Government of Cotabato has allocated funds for the athletes, coaches and staff of the province’s athletic delegation that will be competing in the 2017 Palarong Pambansa.
