Amas, Kidapawan City (Oktubre 07, 2022) – Personal na nagpaabot ng kanyang pasasalamat si Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) XII Regional Director Diseree Concepcion U. Garganian kay Cotabato Governor Emmylou โLalaโ Taliรฑo Mendoza sa suportang ibinibigay nito sa mga programang isinusulong ng Komisyon sa Populasyon at Pagpapaunlad.
Inihayag ng direktor ang pasasalamat sa isinagawang sa 3rd Quarter Local Government Population Management Conference na ginanap sa FCG Catering Services and Refreshment Parlor, sa Brgy. Binoligan Kidapawan City nitong Oktubre 6-7, 2022 kung saan host nito ang Provincial Government of Cotabato Gender and Development (POPGAD) Division.
Ayon sa kanya, โIn behalf of the Population Commission and Development, I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the support of Governor Mendoza to all our endeavors in building a better community through our POPDEV programs with all our LGU program partners.โ
Sinabi rin ni RD Garganian na pangunahing mandato ng kanilang tanggapan ang pagpapalakas ng pamilyang Pilipino na ayon sa kanya ay pinakamahalagang bahagi ng pag-unlad ng isang sosyodad.
“Ang thrust talaga ng POPCOM is to increase share of each Filipino in the opportunities and fruits of socioeconomic progress through well-planned, healthy, empowered and resilient individuals, families and communities.โ
Upang matugunan ang mga pangunahing isyu patungkol sa populasyon at pagpapaunlad katulad ng teenage pregnancies, unmet needs of women of reproductive age for modern family planning methods at ang mga pangangailangan ng special population groups, kabilang sa programang isinusulong ng POPCOM sa tulong ng mga pamahalaang lokal ay ang mga sumusunod: Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning Program (RPFP), Adolescent Health and Development (AHD) Program, Population and Development Integration Program .
Pinasalamatan din nito ang POPGAD Division ng lalawigan sa pangunguna ni POPGAD Division Head Mr. Allan Matullano dahil sa aktibo nitong pakikiisa sa lahat ng programang isinusulong ng ahensya.
Ang 3rd Quarter Local Government Population Management Conference ay dinaluhan ng mga Population Program Officers mula sa ibaโt ibang probinsya at siyudad ng rehiyon XII.//idcd//
