Provincial Government Forgoes Employees’ Parade and Dance Competition to Promote More Quality Bonding Time During Family Day

“Family First”.

This is the message that Cotabato Governor Nancy Catamco wants to stress after she directed the Kalivungan Program Committee to forgo this year the Employees’ Costume Parade and Showdown during the province’s foundation anniversary celebration to allow provincial workers to spend more quality bonding time with their respective families.

This is also the provincial government’s way of thanking its workers by giving them a well-deserved break with their families and enjoy the foundation festivities, according to the Governor.

“Let’s give this day for the workers and their families. Family Day must all be fun, fun and more fun with our valuable partners – the employees and their families”, Catamco declared.

Family day will feature dance and song competitions between families instead of performances pitting provincial employees from each other.

In addition, Governor Catamco has also ordered to feature in this year’s Kalivugan Festival an amusement park which has recreational rides in front of the provincial capitol at Amas, Kidapawan City.//ozg\\
