Officials of Barangay Manobisa in Magpet led by Chairman Randy U. Senadon were the first to visit Governor Nancy A. Catamco for the traditional courtesy call following the new year, and they were rewarded for it.
Governor Catamco granted the request of Senadon, and his Council members for the concreting of the Sitio Timodos, Manobisa road.
The governor instructed acting Provincial Engineer Domingo S. Doyongan, Jr. to evaluate the subject road section and submit a corresponding report.
Governor Catamco appreciated the initiative of Senadon and his Council and said the gesture is indicative of healthy politics in the province, adding that “this is a time for rebuilding and of healing after our province has been through and politics and politicking should be set aside.”
Learning from Senadon that the 2 Serbisyong Totoo multicabs given to their barangay by then Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza are no longer serviceable, Governor Catamco instructed Senadon to return the units to the provincial government for proper disposition.
She however clarified that those multicabs that are still operational should remain with the recipient barangays for their use.
The governor also assured Senadon and the barangay officials that proper coordination and collaboration with the three congressional offices will be applied by her administration to ensure that there is synchronization in identifying projects and project beneficiaries.
Through this, “we avoid competition among government units and promote transparency and harmony in governance,” Governor Catamco said.//idcd//
