Kidapawan City’s booth has been awarded with the “Best Booth “award in this year’s Market-Market sa Kapitolyo in line with the province’s 105th weeklong foundation anniversary celebration.
The City LGU received P25,000.00 cash prize for the said recognition.
The Mlang LGU meanwhile came at second place for the Best Booth competition and took home P20,000.00 cash prize. Third was the Midsayap booth with P15,000.00 prize.
All 18 LGUs in the province participated in the said activity with 15 of them receiving P10,000.00 as consolation prize winners.
In the Cooperative Exhibits meanwhile, the Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) of Mlang went home with two top awards as they won the 1st prize in the Best Cooperative Competition with P5,000.00 cash prize and the Top Seller Award.
The City Cooperative Development Council of the City of Kidapawan meanwhile and the MCDC of Aleosan received the 2nd (P3,500.00) and 3rd prize (P2,500.00) respectively for the Best Coop Contest.
MCDC Matalam won as the Most Trendy Booth while MCDC Pres. Roxas was declared as having the Most Eco-Friendly Booth.
The Sta. Catalina Cooperative also received recognition for having the Most Unique Products and Services.
The Booth and Coop Exhibits were both part of the 105th foundation anniversary celebration of the province dubbed as Kalivungan 2019 which was celebrated August 26 to September 1 at the provincial capitol compound.//ozg\\
