To restore, revive, and preserve the traditional Filipino sports, the provincial government of North Cotabato will highlight different traditional games during the 105th Founding Anniversary of the province or Kalivungan Festival that will officially start Monday, August 26, 2019.
Palo sebo, sack race, habulan ng baboy, tug of war, kadang-kadang relay, kariling lumba, boksing sa kawayan, and basagang palayok are some of the traditional games to be featured in Larong Pinoy activity.
According to the focal person of the event Allan Matullano, the participants are coming from different towns of the province and the activity will be held on August 29, 2019 at Provincial Capitol Grounds, Amas, Kidapawan City. //ras//
