Newly-installed Governor Nancy A. Catamco presided as the newest Chair of the province’s Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) as it convened today at the capitol rooftop, Amas, Kidapawan City.
The Meeting was the third for this year and the first-ever under the administration of Governor Catamco.
The Governor has expressed elation of the commitment showed by the frontline agencies especially the PNP, AFP, BFP and BJMP and other support groups in maintaining peace and order in the province.
“Your attendance today is a clear manifestation that we are one in advocating peace here in our beloved province. Your commitment of keeping your Area of Responsibility (AOR) safe from terrorism, insurgency and man-made calamities is indeed the most serious and noble job, the Governor said.
She also assured all local officials, partners and other stakeholders that all suggestions and recommendations will be considered by the provincial government.
The Governor further said that the present leadership will not only be “working behind” instead, it will work hand in hand with everyone in all peace efforts. //idcd\ozg\\
