Ilomavis, Kidapawan City- A total of 829 families of Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan City affected by series of earthquakes last October 2019 received financial assistance from the Provincial Government of Cotabato today, February 3, 2021.
Said assistance amounted to a total of P8.2M where each family were given P10,000 cash.
During the distribution held at Sayaban Elementary School of the said barangay, Mr. Semion A. Madiandandang, one of the beneficiaries , thanked the provincial government for returning for them and fulfilling its promise.
“Daku ang among pagpasalamat kay niabot gyud ang gisaad nga tabang kanamo sa probinsya. Daku kaayo ni tabang sa amoa,” he said.
Cotabato Governor Nancy A. Catamco, on the other hand, apologized for the delay of the said assistance due to government meticulous process.
“Pasensya na kay na-delay ang pag-abot sa inyong ayuda tungod kinahangalan kita magsunod sa proseso sa gobyerno. Ang importante, makaabot kaninyo ang hinabang,” the governor said.
She also stressed that the provincial government is always looking for ways to uplift the economic condition of the people especially during this trying times.
She also urged them to wisely utilize the assistance given.
“Nanghinaot ako nga ang ayuda nga gihatag kaninyo gamiton ninyo sa mas mahinungdanong butang ug mapuslan gayud sa tibuok pamilya.
