PDRRMC RECOMMENDS DECLARATION OF CALAMITY IN COTABATO

The Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) sitting en banc passed a resolution yesterday recommending to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cotabato that the province be placed under the state of calamity. Victims of Shooting Incident in Aleosan received cash assistance

  Casualties of the shooting incident at Barangay Tapodoc, Aleosan last June 21, 2017 has received financial assistance from the provincial government recently. The total amount of P20,000 was extended to the wife (P10,000) and parents (P5,000 each) of Mr. Jimboy Mancera Macagba who was killed in the said incident after sustaining multiple gunshot injuries; his parents, Anita Macagba and Salvador Macagba, were wounded and were immediately brought to Aleosan District Hospital for treatment. Provincial government launches livestock dispersal program for solo parents

Solo parents in the province of Cotabato take the front seat now as the provincial government launches a new livestock dispersal program centered on them who are considered as one of the vulnerable sectors of the society. Launched in May this year, the Livestock Dispersal Program for Single Parents, targets 270 initial recipients or 15 recipients each for the province’s 17 municipalities and 1 city for its launching activities. Makilala Eco-Adventure Park under new management

Provincial government releases over P1M for capital augmentation of 500 beneficiaries

Over 500 local micro entrepreneurs from the province of Cotabato have received capital augmentation from January to June this year as the provincial government released a total allocation of P1.26 million for its Serbisyong Totoo Entrepreneurial Program or STEP. Provincial government keen on reviving rubber industry, trading centers opened province-wide

Keen on addressing the unstable market price of rubber cuplumps in the province of Cotabato and ensure that farmers avoid being shortchanged in selling their produce, Governor Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza ordered the establishment of local rubber trading centers in strategic areas in the province which will be called as “Bagsakan ng Rubber Cuplumps”. Cotabato province hosts 40th FEDBOP national championship bowling tournament
