Serbisyo Caravan continues to serve conflict-affected areas of the province amidst pandemic

Amabil, Magpet, Cotabato- With happy faces and grateful hearts, officials and residents of Barangay Amabil, Magpet, Cotabato warmly welcomed the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) and different line agencies as they delivered various programs and social services on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, during the Nagkakaisang Adhikain Para sa Cotabateño, Local Serbisyo Caravan (NAC-LSC).

Before conducting the activity, the PTF-ELCAC through its Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), conducted a barangay immersion and convergence meeting to properly address issues and concerns of the conflict-affected communities who were identified as beneficiaries.

In his message, DILG Provincial Director Ali B. Abdullah asked to barangay residents not to take for granted the projects and opportunities given by the government.

“Do not allow lawless forces again to influence your peaceful community.Instead, focus on the future of your children and trust in our government and its program for the people,” Abdullah said.

Governor Nancy A. Catamco who led the activity said that the government has been reaching out to far-flung and conflict-affected areas of the province and deliver the services needed by the communities.
